Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre
The Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre was the first public-private partnership hospital built in British Columbia, and the first LEED Gold-certified hospital in Canada. This 300-bed, five-storey facility provides health services to more than 150,000 people in the Abbotsford area, and up to 330,000 people in the Fraser Valley. A cancer treatment center, run by the BC Cancer Agency, has been integrated into the hospital’s design to provide diagnosis and treatments such as MRIs, radiation, and chemotherapy.
